Commercial insurance broker / account handler

Oddie Dalton & Co Ltd is an established commercial and private client insurance broker in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious account handler to join our growing commercial insurance team.

As part of the commercial team you will work closely with senior management and account executives to help maintain and develop strong relationships with commercial insurance clients. You will deal with the broking of both new business and renewals, preparing quotations, making adjustments and answering queries to provide a professional service and support to clients and colleagues alike.

The role involves both electronic trading of SME risks and, more commonly, the drafting and presentation of more complex, larger risks to underwriters. You must be confident in the handling, broking and negotiation of premiums of up to £50,000.

You will ensure all instructions and requirements are handled promptly and accurately and maintain communication and understanding through accurate reports and summaries.
