Production Manager

Our client is a North Nottingham company based near Hucknall offering solutions to manufacturers across a broad range of industries. They are a progressive, forward-thinking organisation who are great to work for! They are looking for a production manager to overlook an expert team. The company are currently building a factory next to their current site due to their growth so this is an exciting time to join their team!

Duties:

• Leading the workshop team
• Responsible for health and safety within the workshop
• Strive for continuous operational efficiency through 5s, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
• Working closely with design team to manufacture new products
• Identifying new equipment that the organisation should invest in to increase productivity

Skills and experience: 

• Experience in mechanical, automotive, electrical or aerospace environment
• Experience of motivating a production team and be able to be hands on when required
• Ideally HND or Degree qualified
