An excellent opportunity has been made available by an established Housing Provider. The role is a full time three to six months Freelance contract for a Support Worker based in Yeovil working with Young Peoples service.
Candidate must have an enhanced DBS and very good IT Skills. Due to the location of the service, a Full UK Drivers License and access to a car will be required - Mileage will be paid for work related travel.
As a Support Worker you will be required to enable clients to live safely and achieve and maintain independence; at the same time ensuring residents understand their rights and responsibilities under their tenancy
agreements, ensuring rents are paid fully and promptly.
Part of your role will be to work closely with residents, families and other associated contacts to resolve any relationship difficulties and to ensure effective integration within their communities.
You will be tasked with working constructively with external agencies to ensure a timely and responsive service to customers is delivered and safeguarding concerns are addressed.
You will need to ensure routine estate management visits (including alarm testing) are undertaken regularly where required and any actions are followed up in appropriate timescales.
Part of your duties will require you to provide shift or caseload cover to other teams where required.
