Exciting opportunity for a Stock Administrator to join a well established company based in Bridgwater The key duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows: ? Initiate and monitor daily stock take activity by warehouse operators in close cooperation with warehouse manager. ? Investigate and resolve any stock take discrepancies. ? Perform add hoc stock discrepancy investigations as and when reported by staff ? Periodic reviews of min/max stock level requirements for all product groups and all locations. ? Place purchase orders with suppliers following a strict schedule ? Ensuring all stock is available to sell by periodic checks of stock data ? Advise sales of discontinued & overstock. ? Reporting of stock related key performance indicators to management. ? Discuss, suggest & implement preventive actions for recurring stock problems. ? Assist colleagues and supervisors as and when required Skills Accuracy Eye for detail Analytical skills and logical approach to problem solving Working to a plan and deadlines Ability to interact and work with colleague's in various departments Self motivated to initiate improvement Ability to take instructions from supervisors Ability to train staff in using correct stock procedures Be a clear approachable communicator. The ideal applicant will have: Experience in using a warehouse stock management system. Good working knowledge of Excel including use of formulas.
