Field Sales Engineer Southern Region ??30,000 - ??35,000 DOE + Car +Bonus Are you looking for a new challenge to work with a market leader that is constantly improving and bringing new products to market through a 50 person strong research and development team? Do you have an interest in technical products that are simple to use and have been aesthetically designed? Our Client: A privately owned Manufacturing and Engineering company manufacturing a range of precision measurement equipment dealing across multiple market sectors including precision engineering companies, automotive, aerospace, fabrication and any manufacturing market that requires quality control. They are market leaders in this industry sector and have a large research and development function that continually delivers award winning products. The company have a global reach exporting their products to over 80 countries worldwide. Role: The main purpose of the role will be the development of the field sales of coatings inspection, concrete inspection, metal detection and NDT equipment to new and existing customers within a geographical location close to home. The Field Sales Executive will be expected to take a proactive approach towards developing both new and existing business and this will involve meeting with clients and demonstrating equipment through to closure of sales. The Field Sales Executive will report directly into the UK Sales Manager and work alongside the other Field Sales Executives to increase the company's market share, build long lasting relationships, grow existing accounts through newly identified business opportunities and proactively chase new business. The role is equally split between business development and account management. As the company have been trading for over 65 years they are very well known in the precision measurement industry sector and have a stellar reputation. Responsibilities: Proactively sell products and services to end users in your designated geographical location in the South of UK.Plan and execute visits which will include demonstrating the product to existing and potential customersForecast and grow the sales pipeline of prospects through a combination of developing new business, re-energising existing accounts and gaining sales from existing customer baseRepresent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and seminars to promote the company product and gain further sales from these eventsCapture customer intelligence and conduct market evaluations to ensure the company products are maintaining a competitive advantage in the market place What we are looking for The ideal candidate will currently be a Sales Engineer or a Field Sales Executive who is selling a relatively technical product. The products in themselves are very simple to operate and demonstrate, you will not need to know how it is put together and all training can and will be given. It is important for the candidate to have a quantifiable track record of new business development and key account management. Due to the nature of the role the candidate must be self-motivated with a strong background of selling a technical product into end users, OEM's or tier 1 suppliers.
