gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Engineering Compliance Administrator to work at their facility based near Chester

Performance Objectives

- The Engineering Compliance Administrator will be proactive in site interaction and spend a minimum of 20% of time out on site such as in Engineering Stores, War Room, Dept & Shift Managers to be aware of the daily priorities and to communicate and update the planning boards for the contractor's programme of work.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Engineer and wider Engineering Team, ensuring the smooth running of the department.
- Responsible for overseeing all departmental Health & Safety and Legal Compliance documentation, ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept and are accessible upon request.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Chief Engineer throughout the delivery of all site engineering projects.
- Retain all engineering maintenance records for auditing purposes, keep an up to date schedules and arrange contractor visits as per current contracts with an appointed job controller by liaising with the Engineering Maintenance Supervisor, Production Managers and the Senior Engineers. Identify from such visit reports any recommendations to the Chief Engineer to access and carry out remedial actions.
- Identify contract renewals, monitor and report on their performance to the Chief Engineer giving adequate time for evaluation before renewal and assist in renewal process.
- Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system, and coordinate all PPM activity with Engineers and Contractors in a timely and effective manner.
- The Engineering Compliance Administrator will coordinate and input all arranged contract maintenance visits into the weekly maintenance plan by identifying the contractor, job controller, the equipment being maintained and an estimated time for completing of the work.
- The Engineering Compliance Administrator will carry out Contractor inductions and maintain information on the CONAX system.
- The Engineering Compliance Administrator will raise orders and arrange payment of invoices as and when required, keeping and monitoring all capital projects spends and ensuring appropriate levels of sign off are adhered to for ordering, receipt of goods and completion of work, in accordance with financial procedures.

- Experience of Stock Takes and Stock Ordering
- Engineer's Handover Sheets
- Time & Attendance for Department
- Training Records & Bookings
- Answering Phones, Emails & General Correspondence
- Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP Systems and AutoCAD
- Continuous Improvement & Journey to Excellence Administration
