Customer Care & Sales Advisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care & Sales Advisor to join Park Cameras based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
Park Cameras is a leading retailer in the specialist photographic market, with an award-winning store/head office based in Burgess Hill, as well as a state-of-the art London store opened in 2013. We are a growing and exciting family-run business established for over 40 years, and we aspire to become the first-choice speciality photographic retailer across the UK.
Reporting to the Customer Care Team Manager, and working as part of a small team of 5-8, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer communication along a single channel –inbound telephone calls, or inbound email / website LiveChat / social media communications.
As a Customer Care & Sales Advisor your duties and responsibilities will be:
Inbound Telephone channel:
- Ensuring inbound calls are answered to meet agreed abandon rate and answer time targets
- Answering general and product-specific customer queries, using available resources
- Seeking opportunities to make sales (in what is a competitive market)
- Maintaining focus on achieving agreed call conversion rates, AOVs and attachment rates
- Accurately entering customer information, sales orders and payments on the system
- Keeping appropriate call records for future reference
- Dealing with customer complaints, resolving where possible and escalating where required
Inbound Email/Website LiveChat/Social Media channel:
- Ensuring all inbound email queries are responded to within 24 hours
- Dealing with website LiveChats in a promp and professionally manner
- Responding to customer comments on social media (e.g. Facebook)
- Responding to positive and negative customer reviews (e.g. Trustpilot)
An ideal Customer Care & Sales Advisor will have the following skills and experiences:
- Enthusiastic and energetic with a positive outlook, with strong listening and customer services skills and the ability to proactively seek sales opportunities.
- You will be able to quickly build rapport with colleagues and customers, be able to deal with complaints calmly and professionally.
- You will have contact centre or sales administration experience, be able to communicate clearly and fluently, and be able to use language appropriate for each customer.
- You will be comfortable using computers and have experience of computer-based sales and order management systems.
You will be interested in photography, and show a natural enthusiasm for acquiring technical knowledge of new cameras, lenses and accessories.
Your working hours will be full time 40 hours per week.
In return for this you will receive a salary of £14,000 - £16,000 per annum depending on experience plus sales commission:
