Storeman/Despatch Operative

Storeman/Despatch Operative job Wakefield GBP8.50 per hour

A leading provider of Financial Services is currently looking for a Storeman/Despatch Operative to join their expanding and busy team at their offices in Wakefield. This will be on a temporary basis for three months, working hours from 8.30am until 5.00pm.

The candidate must hold a current and valid Counterbalance fork lift license.

The role is varied but you will be involved in the control of IT storerooms for the Head office sites. This involves keeping accurate records of stock, receiving and distributing equipment on a daily basis and updating and receipting of goods on the purchasing system. You must must be IT literate and able to perform basic data entry tasks. You will be working on a customer site, and within a small team and must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
