Role: Supply Chain Project Support
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Ruislip
Duration: 6 months
Key accountabilities

* Support strategic sourcing initiatives to cover the vehicle manufacturer/dealership category, including:
o Analyse supply chain baseline information (cost, price, specifications, etc.)
o Prepare a comprehensive and concise RFP document in a format that facilitates analysis of supplier responses
o Analyse responses and draw insight/conclusions
o Support the preparation of negotiation material
* Support the Interim Supply Chain Project Lead and Divisional Procurement Fleet Category Lead in other activities that require immediate attention to deliver the overarching Procurement and Supply Chain Transition deliverables


* Quality of RFP documentation to facilitate comprehensive supplier responses and ease of analysis
* Efficient turnaround of RFP response analysis


* Be familiar with, and comply with, all applicable policies, procedures and training - whether health & safety, environmental, quality, ways of working or information assurance practices which protect our network and information;

Person Specification

Technical/Specialist Knowledge:

* Fleet category Procurement expertise (vehicle manufacturers/dealerships), including an excellent understanding of vehicle whole life costs
* Experience of Crown Commercial Services' procurement arrangements
* Experience of working in an 'emergency services' Procurement environment


* Highly analytical
* Ability to undertake complex analyses independently and quickly (eg in MS Excel) and draw conclusions
* Strong strategic sourcing experience
* Good communication skills
* Experience in using ARIBA
