Our client is looking for a Curriculum Lead - Engineering to join their team in Havant, Hampshire.

You will need to have Managerial experience working for a Training Provider, College or other Training environment.

Engineering knowledge / experience will also be very beneficial in this role as you will be leading on Engineering training the company provide.

Main purpose of the job

To lead and coordinate the development and delivery of a range of programmes across the engineering curriculum to reflect the company's commitment to ensure an excellent learner experience is provided. This includes a particular focus on the development and delivery of the new apprenticeship standards and end point assessment as well as contribution to our quality systems in support of our aim to provide outstanding quality in teaching, learning and curriculum design and delivery.

In addition, to be responsible for the commercial agenda in developing our engineering offer for adult skills based on clear labour market intelligence to meet local and regional needs and aligned with our objective to grow this aspect of our business.

Major tasks

1. Create and maintain outstanding engineering provision aligned with the company's strategic priorities to fully embrace the new apprenticeship standards and end point assessment.
2. Lead the engineering curriculum development including the planning and implementation of existing and new programmes to ensure the supply of courses is appropriate and meets the demands of learners and the local and regional economy.
3. Lead on the development and planning processes within the engineering department to achieve either accreditation to become an End Point Assessment (EPA) centre or agreement with preferred third party providers to deliver EPA for our apprentices.
4. Work with the Senior Manager and Director to manage the curriculum area budget allocation and provide course costings and information


Hours: 37.5 hrs per week. 8.30am - 5.00pm* Monday to Friday. one hour lunch.

Holidays: 34 days includes 8 public holidays. leave increases with length of service rising to 38 days incl 8 bank holidays
