As the official promotional and marketing body of horse racing, they are looking for an enthusiastic and savvy Digital Assistant to help them further spread the word about Britain's second biggest spectator sport.
You will be ahead of the curve and play a pivotal role in contributing to national campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day running of their website and social media channels
- Help to create and source engaging, reliable and shareable content
- Ensure that marketing and PR campaigns translate to digital activity and vice-versa
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders/personalities to generate content
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, new technology and networks and recommend innovations for implementation
- Write engaging copy for websites and social media
Skills & Experience required
- Strong sporting knowledge - racing an obvious bonus
- Passionate and knowledgeable about digital technologies
- Proven experience within a digital environment
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Able to work outside of office hours to ensure that they offer fans the latest news
- Innovative and imaginative for engaging content and generating ideas
- Experience of building/maintaining a digital community
- Avid attention to detail
- Video editing experience
