National Sales Executive is needed to join our client a leading provider of meat processing machinery to join their Machinery Sales team. This vacancy has arisen due to the continued growth and expansion of its business within the meat, fish, poultry and food related industries
Duties will include:
* Regular visits to their customers and prospective new customers throughout assigned territory to perform product demonstrations and secure orders.
* You will manage and develop new customers and accounts, whilst also maintaining existing accounts.
* Help arranging installations and testing equipment at customer's premises and providing ongoing support and training for those who need it
Essential criteria:
They are looking for someone with a positive, winning, can-do attitude who wants to continuously better themselves within this role. A full induction and training programme will be delivered to the successful candidate.
Previous sales/ field sales experience very nice to have
The position involves travelling across the UK and Ireland visiting customer sites with regular overnight stays, so a flexible approach to working hours and a full driving licence is essential for this role.
Sound commercial awareness, judgment and ability to prioritise accordingly.
Has the ability to be influencing, persuasive, doing the best for the customer and able to close a deal.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
