Bright World Guardianships offers a programme of care services for international students in UK boarding schools. This includesorganising safeguarding accredited travel arrangements and caring host families for them during the academic year.
Due to continuing expansion, Bright World Guardianships is looking for a new member of staff to join the existing team who run our Guardianship Programme, and who manage holiday arrangements for international students studying in UK boarding schools.
The role of International Customer Services Manager is to manage the administration for a number of overseas students who are studying at UK boarding schools, liaising with their overseas agents and parents prior to arrival and throughout the year, organising short homestays for them in their school holidays, liaising with private boarding schools on the arrangements being made, PR visits to schools. Overseas marketing is available for those who are interested and are suitable. Skills required
Success in this role and working for a growing company
The successful applicant will have a flexible attitude, a high standard of customer service, a solid work ethic, the ability to remain calm in a crisis, excellent administration skills, good communication skills, efficiency, and the ability to hit a deadline. We operate our programme using a bespoke cloud based system so knowledge of using a system and the ability to learn quickly are a must. Experience with working with agents, students, schools and host families in the international education industry would be very useful. Travel requirements and out of hours commitment
UK travel will be required to visit schools on our behalf. The successful candidate will be required to share responsibility for holding the 24/7 emergency telephone on a rota basis. This means that on some evenings and weekends on peak times you will be required to work in terms of taking emergency calls and dealing with them outside the office.
An appointment will only be confirmed on receipt of an enhanced DBS check which Bright World will organise and pay for and upfront references provided in line with our safeguarding policies.
