This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Calderdale College is the largest provider of further education (post-16) courses and work-based learning (Apprenticeships) and the sole provider of higher education awards in Calderdale, a Metropolitan Borough in West Yorkshire.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Estates and Facilities team as Maintenance Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term basis. This key role will be required to deliver a customer focussed and professional service to all stakeholders. Reporting to the Operational Supervisor, you will work closely with the Health & Safety manager, Facilities Coordinator, Maintenance Technicians and security team. You will be required to maintain compliance with legislation and College operating procedures, provide helpdesk support, arrange and coordinate maintenance and repairs with contractors, including quotations, specifications, evaluating risk assessment method statements, completion reports, certificates and invoicing.

• Demonstrable experience working as a maintenance coordinator
• Customer focused with a ‘Can do' approach
• Experience of maintaining compliance to meet legislative requirements
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
