My client, a major UK provider of insurance and financial services is currently looking to hire a Software Asset Manager on permanent basis, working from their offices in Stratford upon Avon.

Joining their successful IT division, you will be responsible for advising and engaging with business stakeholders to ensure that software is both licensed, cost effective and centrally governed. You will ensure that there is a SAM framework in place and will provide both technical and legal consultation, to ensure software ownership and licensing pitfalls are avoided.

The organisation is looking for someone who has managed software licensing and has in-depth knowledge of software licensing models from large scale vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle and Adobe. You will lead and take responsibility for third-party audits, laying out a strict licensing process and ensuring a transparent and well managed Soft Asset Management framework is visible. Experience of working IBM ILMT tools is highly advantageous.

My client is offering a competitive salary up to ??55,000 along with a generous package including bonus, pension and perks, as well as the opportunity to join a well established company in their industry.
