Your new role
As Service Desk Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the current service, identifying key areas of improvement and executing service improvement strategies where necessary. In addition to this you will also be responsible for the day to day running and management of a team of IT support staff.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have significant experience of managing a Service Desk or IT Support team with successful outcomes, experience of implementing / maintaining service management tools. You will also need experience of planning, managing, implementing and operating ITIL processes and budgetary and planning experience, ensuring resources are deployed appropriately.
You will also need intermediate certification in ITIL service operation or transition processes and Microsoft or other technical certifications.
