Head Pastry chef - Hotel - - OxfordA leading hotel which has won a number of awards and accolades for the high standards of cooking available at the property is now recruiting for a Pastry Chef to work within the skilled team of chefs in the kitchen. This is a luxury hotel with a multi-AA Rosette restaurant, a number of function rooms and a very busy afternoon tea trade. As Pastry Chef you will be required to prepare modern British desserts for the restaurant and banqueting department as well as creating the afternoon teas. This role will require you to run the pastry section of the kitchen including training the junior pastry chefs, undertaking the ordering, writing menus and ensuring that the desserts prepared always reach the standards expected by the Executive Chef.Requirements:All Pastry Chefs applying to this position should have most recently been working within a hotel with a two AA Rosette restaurant but must also have experience of banqueting and afternoon teas.
