Your new company
An opportunity to join a hugely successful global business in their Bristol city centre office, for an experienced senior or Lead AEM Developer. My client is dedicated to developing the very best web and online products for use by their customer and within their organisation. Your new role
You'll be leading an Agile team, working on a major strategic project to develop, implement and deliver a new platform for the company's customer facing websites. This is a hands-on development lead role to integrate Adobe Experience Manager. You will take a lead on this integration and also in redesigning projects moving forward to meet the needs of a growing and demanding customer base. You will be using AEM and the Granite platform, in an Agile working environment. You will join a really talented development team who are professional, passionate and take pride in their work. It is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the success of this project and will be challenging varied and fast paced which will enable you to continue to develop professionally and personally, whilst working with other lead developers.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have commercial experience to show strong relevant practical and professional knowledge in the design, development and integration of AEM (preferably 6.1) and of enterprise scale development on AEM sites. You will have excellent knowledge of the AEM stack, Granite platform and application design and development. If you have any experience in developing classic and touch optimised UI this is essential to the role, as is component based development utilising OSGi. Knowledge of Spring MVC, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and web frameworks and of leading a Scrum team would also be particularly relevant. As an individual you will lead from the front, be able to mentor and coach others must be enthusiastic, a highly confident communicator, with both technical and non-technical individuals. You must be adaptable and flexible, able to work under your own initiative and happy to contribute fully to the team's success.
