The Role:

We are recruiting for a Events Marketing Manager to join our Business Development team in Bristol. As part of a team of 26 marketing and business development specialists, you will be responsible for developing brand enhancing events to take the TLT events programme to the next level.



The role is Bristol based and has a national remit to include our five other UK based offices. You will be required to travel and by the nature of the role, it is essential that you will be flexible and willing to work unsociable hours over peak event season. Key responsibilities are to:

Manage the full events planning process to include: working directly with partners and business development managers to scope events, budget administration, client and stakeholder communications, event reporting and evaluation to deliver the existing TLT events programme.
Develop TLTs online event and learning and development offering by working with the digital team and the professional support lawyer community.
Support the wider campaign management function in the team by actively promoting ideas and solutions to profile TLT events content through multiple channels.
Drive improvements on event production and logistics from supporting TLT departments such as procurement, IT and facilities management.
Manage the end to end delivery of 'flag ship' TLT events while effectively delegating smaller seminars and hospitality events to the wider business development team, reception team and third parties.
Manage the TLT Vuture Events module, analyse events data and provide meaningful ROI information to the business to drive activity.





About You:

At least five years' experience in corporate events at senior executive or management level in a professional or financial services environment.
Confident and effective communication skills, using initiative to drive new ideas, solve problems and manage stakeholder relationships across the firm.
Highly organised to prioritise, delegate and multi task delivery of an events programme of c100 events per annum, to deadline and on budget.
Excellent industry knowledge to drive production improvements.
Adept with developing online events and event management systems.
A good understanding of the overall campaign management function.
Experience with development and production of a key accounts event programme would be advantageous.
