Our housing services provide a supportive home environment that paves the way to greater independence and recovery. We help people with their day to day living and social skills, as well as providing access to social activities, further education, employment and training.

Working with people in their own homes or in supported-housing schemes, you will give a range of emotional and practical support, as well as supporting individuals with domestic tasks and developing daily living skills. You will also liaise with partner agencies, housing providers and voluntary organisations to direct tenants to the services and facilities that best suit their personal circumstances.



Working within our Stroud and Gloucester housing support service the successful candidates will help people using the service to achieve their personal recovery goals, as well as signposting them to a range of social, recreational and educational activities.



You will have a good understanding of mental illness gained through either work, volunteering or personal experience. Good communication skills are essential for this role, as are sound organisational and IT skills. Knowledge of housing support related issues would be an advantage. The ability to work with outside agencies and as a team player is essential for this role.Some experience of the mental health sector would be beneficial but not essential.
