An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Radiodetection as Area Sales Manager. To be successful, you will ideally be based within the Bristol area and will cover Northern and Western Europe as part of the EMEA Sales team.

You will be responsible for maximizing sales through promoting and selling company's products and services and working closely with existing and new customers. As ASM, you will receive competitive salary, benefits and will join our sales incentive plan. This is a field based role with travel throughout Europe.

Your duties as the Area Sales Manager


  • Development and implementation of commercial strategy
  • Creating and developing new business relationships and opportunities with existing and potential customers in order to maximize the sale of Radiodetection products and services
  • Account planning
  • Distribution network management
  • Connecting customers with our technical team to help clarify product specifications, application and performance
  • Forecasting, planning and reporting
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity in your area

The Successful Area Sales Manager will have:


  • Proven international sales experience
  • Excellent customer management skills and strong sales ability
  • Understanding of product features, functions and benefits
  • Demonstrable knowledge of technical aspects of product application and operation
  • Strong commercial focus with experience in a relevant industry sector
  • Ability to challenge and critically assess performance
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Business or technical degree or equivalent experience
  • IT literacy
  • Experience of a fast paced environment
  • Second language desirable (Spanish preferred)
