Looking to appoint an experienced Electrician who is able to carry out a range of high quality electrical maintenance work across all of the Trusts properties and School. The school is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 11 to 18, and one of England's oldest and most distinguished Catholic schools. They are situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills, twelve miles south of the city of Bath.

Working closely with and supporting the Senior Electrician, your responsibilities include improvements, general repairs, reactive maintenance, projects and statutory compliance work. You will carry out electrical work in domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial buildings including the installation and maintenance of door entry systems, CCTV and fire/security alarms. It is essential that you are able to prioritise workload, ensuring timely completion of works.

They are looking for someone who:
??? Is a qualified and experienced Electrician; minimum Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance) or Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment).
??? Has good communication skills; able to liaise with staff, tenants and sub-contractors.
??? Demonstrates a professional, supportive approach to work.
??? Is able to work within IEE wiring regulations, carry out PAT testing and install CAT 6 structured data cable networks.

This role is working Monday to Friday, 39 hours a week. You are entitled to half an hour for lunch each day which is unpaid and a 15 minute paid tea break. This is a 52 week per year role offering a salary c??11 - 14.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
