IT Technical Analyst

Our client, a leading global integrated services brand has a dynamic and exciting opportunity for an IT Technical Analyst to join them and develop their career in IT support.

* Location: Cheltenham
* Salary: ??22,000pa with an attractive benefits package.

Reporting into the IT Manager you will work in a reactive and service driven team to support users across the business. The role will present a variety of challenges and provide first line help desk support for day to day technical issues across the network. Key Responsibilities;

* To provide IT helpdesk and first line support to the user community.
* IT systems administration, support and management.
* Managing the Performance Management Information System on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all necessary data is appropriately collated and monthly reports are completed on time.
* Assist and execute technology refreshes.
* Delivery of user training.
* Enforce and comply with the IT security policy.
* To contribute to project work within the IT Department as required

To be successful in your application you will have;

* A NVQ/GCSE/A Level/ONC/OND or equivalent qualification in IT and/or technical subjects with a desire to progress your career within the IT field.
* Good IT skills with working knowledge of Windows 7/10 operating systems.
* Help desk / first line support experience desired but not essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skill with the ability to build relationships at all levels across a business.
* A customer focused approach with strong time management, planning and organisational skill.

Desirable

* Applications skills in: MS Office Applications
* Knowledge of Windows 2008/2012

A Developed Vetting (DV) check will be required for this position and so you must be prepared to go through an extended security screening process. As such, a realistic start date will be 9-12 months post interview.
