SCHOOL NURSE FOR SPECIAL SCHOOL- LEARNING DISABILITIES ?? 28 K
Residential school requires a Registered Children's Nurse - RNLD-RMN-RGN with experience of working with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and complex needs, including autism to work as part of a team providing 24 hour nursing for children and young people in both day and residential settings.
As well as undertaking routine and emergency nursing duties and supporting Care, Education and Health staff in the planning and provision of health care, the role holder, as part of a multidisciplinary team, will be responsible for establishing a caring and supportive relationship with the children and young people, to promote and enable healthy lifestyle choices and to oversee and ensure their complex health needs are fully met.
To ensure 24 hour cover the role holder will required to work early and late, including some 'sleep in's.
The average working week will be 40 hours with annual salary circa ??26 -??28,000 with 33 days holiday a year.
