Breedon have an opportunity for an experienced Estimator to secure asphalt surfacing contracts in East Anglia and the Home Counties and expand the contracting business.

Based at Cavenham Asphalt Plant near Bury St Edmunds you will be responsible for accurately pricing asphalt surfacing contracts, tender completion, risk management, business development, and customer relationships and have a track record for successfully winning work.

You should have excellent organisational skills, be able to meet deadlines, meticulous in presentation and be able to demonstrate accuracy in tender / quote submissions.

Reporting to the Southern Contracting Commercial Manager you will have a sound knowledge of NEC contracts and have a full understanding of bituminous materials and specifications.

You need to have previous experience in a similar role and be computer literate. Flexibility in the role will be expected and some QS / General Management functions may be included in the role.

You should have the ability to grow the business through marketing and networking within East Anglia, therefore excellent communication skills and customer interaction is essential.
