Overseeing the day to day management of a medium sized residential home in the heart of Manchester, you will have a clear passion for care of the elderly, including those with dementia. The home is purpose built and boasts state of the art facilities to enhance the lives of the residents who live there. It is within commutable distance of Wigan, Leigh, Chorley, Bolton and Skelmersdale. You will drive a person centred ethos through the home by empowering, developing and motivating a staff team of nurses and carers whilst maintaining a profitable home through effective marketing and increasing the number of private residents and increasing the overall occupancy levels. Reporting to the Operations Director of a group of nursing and residential homes, you will have the autonomy to run all aspects of the home including, recruitment, agency spend reduction, training, appraisals and supervisions, marketing, compliance and finance, having full P&L responsibility for the home. Finally, you will utilise your skills to improve quality and ensure that CQC minimum standards are not only met but exceeded additional to other external bodies' criteria.
