Operations Manager

Due to continued growth and development they are now looking for a talented, tenacious and experienced Operations Manager ready to take on a new challenge in a fast paced, reactive and demanding multi-site business.
Position: Operations Manager (Engineering / Maintenance)
Location: Bristol
Job Type: Full time, Permanent with probationary period
Salary: circa ??28k depending on experience
Benefits: 23 days holiday up to a maximum of 26 days + Bank holidays; auto enrolment pension scheme; use of company van; free parking; Optional Simply Health Cash Plan.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for planning and organising the engineer response team activities at their Bristol division. You will ensure your team has the correct equipment and information to complete all works safely and efficiently, ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.
In addition, you will have responsibility for company vehicles and plant within the depot, making sure they are calibrated and serviced correctly with the support of their transport division in Manchester. You will also be dealing with Health and Safety issues as they arise within the Depot. This is predominantly an office based role, however a company van is provided to enable you to work on various sites as and when required.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous Drainage / Utilities experience, a flexible approach to work, customer service experience and experience of leading a team. The ability to schedule work to ensure maximum productivity and optimum asset usage is essential, as is excellent customer service skills.
Additionally you will have excellent IT skill with the ability to use all Microsoft packages. A full driving licence is also required.
