As a Capacity Building Manager you will work closely with the West of England Works delivery partners to identify opportunities where further development and increased capacity could enable them to more effectively deliver against their existing contracts with us or develop new mutual business opportunities.

You will begin this task through conducting a thorough analysis of our partners operations in order to identify the potential areas for development. This will inform the development of a Capacity Building plan that will be supported by a dedicated budget and focus on the actions that will yield the greatest mutual benefit. You will work directly with partners to deliver some elements of this plan and will identify and procure appropriate support for other elements. This will include the facilitation of increased and more effective mutual support between partners.

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in effectively delivering programmes of support and experience of business analysis. We are particularly interested in applications from individuals with experience of working within or developing voluntary and community sector organisations.

As our Capacity Building Manager, the majority of your time will be spent working remotely, attending meetings and conducting reviews and delivering development activities with our delivery partners. When not working remotely you will be based either in Weston-super-Mare or Bristol (subject to confirmation).

We plan to conduct interviews the week commencing of Monday 12th December.

Weston College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Applications from candidates seeking both full-time and part-time employment will be considered for all posts. However, our ability to offer part-time posts will depend on meeting our staffing requirements through an appropriate combination of suitable candidates.

Application closing date Friday 2nd December 2016 at midnight.
