Your new company

A successful niche service provider in Skegness has been experiencing a growth in activity and as such is looking to recruit a Temporary HR Assistant/Officer, with a view to permanency. This role is an excellent opportunity for a HR Administrator/Assistant to progress their career, or a HR Advisor to join an expanding organisation, with the opportunity to be "more involved" in the provision of a proactive and effective HR service.

The business operates from their head office in Skegness with 2 other satellite offices in Louth and Grantham (adhoc travel to these sites will be part of the role)

Your new role

As part of the HR team, reporting to and being mentored by the HR Manager you will be involved in a full generalist HR remit of duties. This will include the full employee lifecycle, HR advice & guidance, Grievance & Disciplinary support, Absence Management, Recruitment, Training (coordination, monitoring and a new delivery programme to Line Managers to upskill behaviours), Apprenticeship programmes, Employee Survey and Engagement programmes.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have had solid experience within a HR function at either administrative, assistant or advisor/officer level, be studying (or wanting to) the CIPD qualification and excellent IT skills.

Due to the location of the role and travel to other sites in Lincolnshire a driving license and own transport is essential.

What you'll get in return

A truly full generalist remit of duties in a fast paced and changing organisation and culture.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, accrued annual leave whilst interim (then 29 days inc statutories once permanent) and the potential to be supported in ongoing development (CIPD study support) once permanent.
