Job Description

Our mapping, survey and Geographical Information System (GIS) teams provide consultancy support services to a broad range of clients throughout the UK and supporting our in-house engineering, planning and environmental teams.

The work will be a mixture of office based and active work outdoors on projects throughout the UK. There will be a mixture of topographic surveys and precise levelling using GPS and surveying instruments; data handling, processing and communication with internal and external clients.

You will be working Monday-Friday, but some of your work hours might be flexible and will involve early starts, late finishes and occasional overnight trips depending on the requirements and location of the job. Qualifications and Experience You will ideally have a good grade in Maths at GCSE level or above.

Experience of or an interest in Microsoft Office, graphics, 3D design, GIS or CAD would be an advantage. The successful applicant would need to demonstrate a good level of written and verbal communication skills.
