Head of Treasury

My client, a leading Devon based company are currently looking to recruit a Head of Treasury for their busy Finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director you will have a proven background in Treasury Management.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Management of the Treasury team including both formal and informal training
• Ensuring effective hedging by purchasing of derivative to mitigate company exposure
• Regular risk evaluation and highlighting change in trends
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and GAAP accounting rules for treatment of derivatives
• Optimise working capital management
• Develop and maintain good external relationships - To include banks/financial institutions
• Maintain strong working relationships with the wider Finance team
• Monthly cash flow forecasting and monthly balance sheet forecasting
• Preparation of budget and 3 year business plan
• Daily cash and foreign exchange management

The successful candidate will have strong Treasury Management experience and be technically astute. You will have a sound knowledge of Treasury systems and their maintenance/development.

Salary £50,000-£65,000
