My client, a high profile large employer in the South West, is seeking to recruit an experienced Treasury Accountant. There is a permanent vacancy within the department, they are also seeking the services of an experienced contractor for a three month period to start asap.

The responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

Hedging:

• Monitoring exposure
• Reporting on position at month end
• Management of administration

Month end / Year end reporting:

• Preparation of group cash flows
• Reporting on cash position, comparison of actual to forecast, variance analysis
• Portfolio reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accrual calculations

Liaison with external partners

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of treasury, and cash flow reporting, with strong excel skills, hedging experience is desirable but not essential. This represent an excellent opportunity for a candidate with treasury experience who is seeking a high profile role, with an opportunity to have an impact on the management of key financial department, with the potential for a permanent position if this is desired.

This role is to cover for a period of change, the initial contract will be for three months, and therefore would ideally suit a candidate who is immediately available. There is also the prospect of a permanent opportunity.
