Class Teacher, Greenrigg Primary School, 35 hours per week, closing date 18th December 2016
Greenrigg Primary is a non-denominational school with a current role of 113 pupils and a 20/20 ratio nursery. We are looking to find a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team.
Our school currently has 6 classes and a part time support for learning teacher. We have 4 pupil support workers who work across the school to support children with identified learning needs and to support whole school working. We also have a nurture class which is supported by 2 of our pupil support workers and overseen by our nurture teacher. Our management team consists of a shared head teacher and a principal teacher. Having a shared headship with Stoneyburn Primary School allows greater collaboration and support amongst colleagues. Being part of the Whitburn cluster, provides staff with greater opportunities to develop their knowledge, collaboration and leadership skills by working alongside colleagues across the cluster schools.
The successful candidate will join a highly committed team who are working together to raise attainment, and, further develop our curriculum and approaches to highly effective learning, teaching and assessment.
