Our client is looking for an experience Murex Developer to join there very established team
- Murex FX Options (MX version 2.11) - Used by the FX Options desk
- Murex FX Cash (MX version 3.1) -Used by the FX Cash desk
- Murex Equity (Mx version 3.1) - Used by the Equity Derivatives, Equity Flow and Commodities desk
The development team is Embedded in the wider Murex team and looks after the implementation of trade and static data interfaces, and any other functionality which requires more complex coding. Theteam andusers are based in London and Frankfurt and Bangalore.The tasks performed by the developers include analysis of requirements, coding, testing, and third line support.We are looking for a person with excellent development skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills to work as a developer on either our FX or Equity based Murex platforms.
Technical Profile
- Excellent Murex 3.1 experience, including but not limited to MXML Exchange workflows, preTrade and SimAPI
- Excellent Java skills, including Back End and web based front ends
- Some Scripting knowledge, preferably in Perl
- Excellent SQL (Sybase) and strong unix
- Experience with modern development processes and with working in an agile fashion
- Some business knowledge of FX Cash and derivatives or equity and commodity products
- Experience of working with Front Office users
- General Investment Bank knowledge including some coverage of MO, BO, FO
