C++ Developer

Job Title: C++ Developer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000

My client, a well-established software house in Cambridge, are currently looking to expand their existing development team and add at least 2 C++ developers. The roles have come as a result of business growth and will be responsible for development on their core product, along with involvement on new Greenfield initiatives.

They are ideally looking developers with 2/3 years commercial experience that are looking to really progress their career to the next step.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of the internal development team across all areas of the software development life cycle
• Designing new system features
• Maintaining existing code base
• Partaking in code reviews

Skills/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years C++ experience
• Experience working with MySQL
• Experience working with APIs
• Worked in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience working with web apps
• Experience working with Boost/STL libraries highly desired
• Experience writing tools/scripts with Python desirable
