Key Account Manager

In support of our continued growth, Assystem UK requires two Account Managers to join our Systems & Software Group based in Bristol. These are permanent roles with a competitive salary, pension plan, bonus scheme and car allowance. Although based in Bristol there will be at least 50% travel within the UK visiting existing and target clients. We are looking for one Senior Account Manager and one Junior Account Manager. For the junior role, the safety critical systems and software experience is desirable and would probably suit someone with a computer science degree looking for a career in business development within a software/systems environment.

For the Senior Account Manager role, candidates will have a good understanding/experience of the Systems & Software sector within the Aerospace and Rail environments.

Job Description:
Able to deliver multimillion pounds revenue targets by developing relationships with target clients
Able to present Assystem in the market place to current and potential clients to develop and grow revenue base
Able to make cold calls to potentially new customers
Able to develop proposals and manage bids to clients ensuring that profitability targets are maintained
Able to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside the organisation
Able to develop partnerships with strategic organisations supporting the sales and marketing targets
Maintaining and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction

Essential Experience
Good understanding of Safety Critical Systems and Software applications in Aerospace, Rail and other similar domains
Clear understanding of the risks, issues and fundamental requirements of Safety Critical Development
Has good awareness of the need for quality standards and their application in a Safety Critical software environment
Has been responsible for managing customer accounts in aerospace and rail domains

Desirable Experience
Awareness of DO178 and CENELEC 50128 will definitely be advantageous
Understanding of aerospace engineering or railway engineering
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Package
