Our Client is seeking an experienced Quality & Systems Manager for their engineering site in Bristol. The company is recognised as a pioneer in their industry.

Main Responsibilities
??? Coordinate, support and advise the business in all aspects relating to Quality and Health & Safety
??? Establish, manage and monitor standards and processes, communications, training and systems to ensure responsibilities associated with Quality and H&S within the company are adhered to.

Qualifications / Experience
??? Previous HSE in Production/ Manufacturing environment
??? Minimum 2 years experience in Quality/ H&SE Management systems
??? Minimum NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational H&S
??? Internal Auditing qualification desirable/ minimum previous experience required.
??? Strong IT skills with ability to prepare data and reports
??? Generic knowledge and skills on a level achieved by a university / higher education degree.
??? National and International travel required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
??? Ensure safe workplace environment without risk to health
??? Ensure all health and safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
??? Ensure Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health , safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
??? Ensure safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities
??? Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the Company.
??? Liaise with external Health & Safety consultants in the provision of training programmes and health & safety services.
??? Manage and devise the agenda for, chair and formulate and distribute minutes for the Health & Safety Committee meetings.
