Our client is the leading frozen home meals delivery service in the country. Established in 1991 they provide healthy and nutritious meals to thousands of elderly customers who wish to remain independent in their own homes.

Main Role Outlined 

This new and exciting position has been developed to promote our clients services throughout their community and to forge stronger relationships with any potential partners within the care sector. This may include working with Health Care Professionals, local charities engaged in supporting the needs of the elderly or other organisations that have an interest in serving the needs of the elderly in their community.

The role covers East Kent and reports directly into the Retail Sales and Operations Manager; however, time management and diary planning is to be managed by the individual. It is expected that the successful candidate will build and develop strong external relationships with new and existing customers/influencers to drive awareness, educate and promote company growth. The individual will also need passion, energy and commitment to create an exemplar of outstanding performance.

Key Responsiblities:

  • To develop new business and ensure retention of existing customers by direct field marketing activity in the community, work will be target based.

  • To work closely with colleagues from the other in-house franchises and Head Office team to develop and field test new initiatives.

  • To plan, develop and analyse projects to contribute toward franchise KPIs.

  • To develop and maintain relationships with key local medical professionals and care workers who influence others in respect of using our clients service – promoting the benefits to the elderly and overall brand awareness.

  • To promote and undertake food demonstrations for Health Care Professionals, community groups and retirement associations.

  • To identify and educate potential partners, new prospects within the community.

  • To attend exhibitions to develop business and build relationships and networks.

  • To create and maintain a contacts database.

  • To develop relationships with marketers from other franchises to ensure sharing of best practice.

  • To continuously investigate new ways of generating business.

  • To undertake relevant administrative tasking in line with business systems.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Strong relationship management skills

  • GCSE English and Math’s (or equivalent etc.)

  • Evidence of strong presentation skills

  • Evidence of time management, planning and analytical skills

  • Evidence of Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


  • Sales and Marketing experience

  • Knowledge of Dynamics Navision

  • Experience within a care based role

  • Vocational sales/and marketing qualification

  • Ability to travel and be flexible to meet customer needs

  • Occasional travel to other WFF Franchises to share best practice

The successful candidate will be given all the tools and support necessary to succeed in building the companies relationship with key personnel and its existing customer database.
