Media Sales Executives required for Midlands based publishing house
Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
The company is a corporate B2B publishing company based in Burton on Trent, is looking to recruit Media Sales executives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a publishing house providing a full training program designed to introduce graduates and non-graduates to a career in media and digital sales. This vacancy is open to both graduates and non-graduate level applicants and provides a perfect opportunity for all sales people looking to start or build on a career in media sales. Sales experience is not essential but a real passion for making money and building a career is. Media sales is about making money!!
This is a full-time position, working hours Monday to Friday 9am until 5.30pm with an hour for lunch, additional hours are likely to be required from time to time.
Key duties include:
- Online research to source a high volumes of sales leads
- Writing well-informed and professional sales and marketing emails
- Researching relevant topic areas for features and developing new ideas over time
- Selling to corporate clients within the financial services industry via email and telephone
- Strong excel skills is a must
- Experience of working with Access would be beneficial although not essential
- Strong telephone skills
- Creativity and a flair with the written word
- The drive and ambition to succeed and beat targets on a month by month basis
