Apprenticeship in Customer Service (working within the International Exchange Team)
Salary: National Apprenticeship Wage
Working hours: 37 per week (including evenings and weekends)
The successful applicants will be required to work with the International and External Funding team and will develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of customer service. This will be via on the job training and formal training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding.
The role will require liaison with members of the international team, international students, other support staff, lecturers, external organisations and host families. This will also include any associated administrative tasks.
You will complete all components of the Apprenticeship Framework leading to an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service. This consists of the Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service, Employment Rights and Responsibilities and Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required).
With a minimum of 4 GCSEs (including A - D in Maths and English) or equivalent, you will be a competent user of computer software packages including Microsoft Office and Outlook. The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the successful completion of the apprenticeship with the desire to learn and develop new skills.
