Executive PA, Office & Reservations Manager

Location: Bristol
Salary: £25,000 
Contract: Full Time, Permanent 9am - 5.30pm

About the role

Michael Paul Holidays is looking for an experienced PA for a diverse and interesting full time role providing high quality executive support to the management team, managing holiday bookings and liaising with customers. This is a pivotal and influential role in the company and may suit someone wanting to grow into a reservations or revenue manager role as the company grows.

Duties of the Executive PA, Office and Reservations Manager may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Providing executive support to the management team
  • Researching and booking travel, hotels, conferences and business meetings
  • Taking telephone calls, email and web chats from potential holiday customers
  • Managing holiday bookings and liaising with customers and holiday property owners
  • Advising potential customers on suitable holidays and making sales
  • Answering the office telephone and responding to email
  • General administration and office management
  • Ad hoc projects and research
  • Managing the office

Requirements of the PA, Office and Reservations Manager:

  • This role will suit an ambitious candidate with good common sense who can be proactive, enjoys using their own initiative and can work autonomously.
  • Education to a minimum of A level standard
  • At least 5 years' office experience
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Strong telephone skills
  • IT literate with strong word processing skills
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills to a minimum of intermediate level
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Self-directed and able to prioritise workload
  • Hard working, confident and self-motivated
  • An ability to think on your feet
  • Confident enough to talk to customers, advise them on suitable holidays and secure sales
  • An interest in the holiday industry or willingness to learn
  • Ability to cope with multiple priorities and a very diverse workload
