We are currently recruiting for a permanent HR Business Partner to be based at our Torness Power Station in East Lothian.You will work in partnership with designated line managers, providing professional advice and direction, commercial HR solutions and operational support team.This is an integral position in enabling line managers to implement the Business people plan's to improve the Stations performanceThe role requires a confident proactive person who thrives on challenge, can demonstrate excellent team working skills and have the ability to build effective relationships and communicate at all levels of the organisation.Principle Accountability's include: * Reward * Employee Relations * Leadership * Strategy Development * Diversity * Organisational Design * Talent and Succession Planning * Performance ManagementSkills and Qualifications: * Evidence of dealing with Trade Unions * Entrants will have a relevant HNC (or equivalent), Candidates with a relevant degree and/or work experience within a business partner role and/or are a member of the CIPD may have an advantage. * Creative yet pragmatic but able to deliver at speed. Commercially minded and provides practical HR best practice. * Able to deliver high quality HR generalist support, including extensive knowledge of appropriate employment law and HR best practices and their pragmatic application. * Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the areas of change management, performance management, reward management, people development, talent management resourcing and ER/engagement. * Evidence of strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional networks.
