In this role you will support the Casualty Claims area by ensuring accurate assessment and proactive management of claims. This should be carried out in accordance with the conditions of the cover, Chubb Policy and Procedures and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately assess and evaluate claims: policy liability, reserve calculations and settlement values, in accordance with Chubb Policy and Procedures within personal handling authority.
Ensure incoming calls are handled effectively, providing professional service at all times.
Identify complaints and recognise customer expressions of dissatisfaction to ensure such customers issues are handled, or escalated.
Proactive prioritisation and management of own allocated workload.
Ensure personal adherence and continually maintain and update own knowledge of Chubb Policy and Procedures and regulatory authority requirements. This may for example include: Complaint Handling, Money Laundering and Data Protection.
Support and maintain contact with key client relationships with regard to specific customers, or accounts, for issues such as: late notification of claims, case progress, and issuing specific insured requirements within SLAs.
Refer client issues that cannot be resolved to Property Claims Team Leader
Undertake all other duties as reasonably required by Property Claims Team Leader that are applicable to this role
