LOCATION: Banbury, Oxfordshire

JOB TITLE: Production Operator

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP9.40 per hour + shift allowance whilst training.
GBP10.45 per hour + shift allowance after training has been completed.

WORKING HOURS: Shift Pattern (including 12 hour pattern)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operator to join their busy and dynamic team based in Banbury.

THE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a successful and passionate team to aid in the success of the company. You will be responsible for your line production and ensuring that quality control is adhered to at all times. You will ensure the finished product meets the high internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities for the Production Operator role is to include:-

• Operating production equipment
• Quality inspections
• Complete paperwork
• General housekeeping
• Adhering to good manufacturing practices
• Working in a safe manner

THE CANDIDATE: The successful applicant for the Production Operator will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must be confident, self-motivated as well as a team player and have excellent attention to detail. You must have excellent communication skills and the commitment to ensure a continued success for my client. Ideally you will live within a commutable distance to Banbury.

Key skills and experience for the Production Operator role:-

• 2 years production or manufacturing experience
• GCSE A-C in English and Mathematics
• Have Food Safety In Manufacturing Level 2 qualification would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Flexible with working shifts (to include days and nights and a continuous 12 hour pattern)
