Location: London (within M25)

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 + Overtime

The Role of the Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Service Engineer

At Synecore we are currently looking to recruit an Air conditioning/ Refrigeration Service Engineer. We are an M&E contractor with a nationwide coverage who are looking to expand the service/Install team. The ideal engineer will live within the M25, ideally based within a London Postcode.

The company has service engineers placed strategically across the Southeast so the majority of your visits will be within 40 miles of your postcode.

The Person

It is expected that the Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Service/Install Engineer will have proven experience within the industry on small to medium sized commercial refrigeration units, including Walk in Cold-rooms, you will also have a proven experience on air conditioning systems from splits through to VRF systems. Fully trained on the major manufacturers such as Daikin, Toshiba and Mitsubishi must have ability to trouble shoot technical issues and assist less experienced engineers

You will hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or the City and Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.

Requirements of the Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Service Engineer

  • Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems
  • Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, manufacturers such as Foster, Williams, Angelo Po, and Gramm.
  • Extensive Experience of air conditioning, both service and maintenance
  • NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • 17th edition (desirable)
  • Safe Handling of Refrigerants or F-Gas
  • Live within M25
