The Inspired to Aspire Mentoring Programme

Salford Foundation, a social inclusion charity, is developing a new mentoring programme for young people in high schools in Salford, Trafford and Bury funded by the Careers & Enterprise Company and JD Sports Foundation. The programme will be a mix of group and one-to-one mentoring with mentors to be recruited and trained from the private and public sector.

Mentoring Programme Co-ordinator

Full time (35 hours per week)

£20,000 per annum

The programme also requires a Co-ordinator to work with the Team Leader to recruit, train and support mentors, work with schools to assist in the selection and briefing of mentees, manage the project structure and monitor participant progress.

The successful candidates will be self-starters with good communication and interpersonal skills and skills and experience of managing projects and achieving associated targets. The ability to work to deadlines and as part of a team is a necessary requirement.
