A Sales Administrator is required to join the UK's leading provider of security marking and asset identification solutions.
The company has just celebrated 31 years in business and is a trusted name in the Security Industry. The company is based near Bromley in Kent and is an easy 16 minutes train journey from London Bridge.
The company's two main brands are a leading DNA forensic marking system used by Police Forces, Local Authorities, leading banks and retailers to prevent crime, and the No.1 database in the UK for bicycles which is endorsed by both the Met Police and Transport for London.
The company is ISO9001, ISO27001 and ISO14001 accredited, and is dedicated to providing quality and accredited solutions to its customers in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate will be joining a company with a strong team ethic, which creates a very enjoyable environment to work in.
About The Position
This is a position for a hard-working and efficient sales administrator with a desire to make a positive impact in a fast-moving family business. You will report to the Business Development Director and be responsible for:
- All administrative functions generated by sales
- Order processing
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- Data entry and uploading data to company databases
- Monitoring general enquiry e-mail folders and dealing with these enquiries or messages in a prompt manner
- Being the first point of contact for some key accounts
- Handling queries about customer orders and deliveries
- Acting as an extension to the sales team when those individuals are out the office
- Providing a link between the sales and finance departments
- Supporting the sales team by sending samples or marketing material to customers
About You:
- You will preferably have a proven track record of working within a similar function
- You should be friendly, professional and work well in a team
- You will have a can-do attitude, be conscientious and enthusiastic
- You will be articulate and have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- You should be organised, and a good time manager
- You will have excellent data input skills and knowledge of Word and Excel
Salary and Benefits:
- £17,000 to £20,000 depending on experience
- 23 days holiday
