Carnegie Wave Energy Limited (CWE) is an Australian publically listed company (ASX:CWE) focused on developing and commercialising its CETO wave energy technology. Carnegie is regarded as an industry leader on the back of the successful commissioning and 12 month operation of the Perth Wave Energy Project at Garden Island. The Company is now moving focus to the delivery of its CETO 6 technology to be used at its Wave Hub Project, based in Cornwall, UK. The Project, being delivered by Carnegie's wholly owned subsidiary CWE UK Limited and partly funded by European Regional Development Fund, is scheduled for commissioning in 2018.

CWE UK has a requirement for a full-time Project Manager with at least 5 years' experience. This role will be based at CWE UK's offices located in Hayle Marine Renewable Business Park and reporting to the CWE UK CEO.
The position will be responsible for ensuring the £15m CETO Wave Hub Project is managed in accordance with Carnegie project management methodology and is delivered safely, on time and on budget. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with ERDF funding requirements.
The successful Candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with previous project management experience in offshore marine projects. Experience in marine renewables, preferably wave, will be well regarded. This position requires a candidate with the ability to manage a small, diverse team, all project phases from initiation through to operations, associated risks and required reporting. Previous experience in compliance with government grant funding requirements would be beneficial. This position requires a candidate with experience in supply chain and tender management, coordination of multiple work packages, stakeholder management and ability to provide engineering solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, the confidence and ability to work autonomously as well as within a team and a professional, enthusiastic, flexible and positive approach with good judgement and strong decision making skills.
