A rare opportunity to work in the strategic property sector in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK.

Responsibility for developing and implementing the planning, strategy and funding of the Directorate's Property functions and services ensuring that they are well placed to develop and deliver the Council's vision, objectives and priorities.

The role holder will have particular responsibility for building sound working relationships with government departments, associated regional, national and European bodies and professional organisations. You will seek to influence and shape regional and national property planning and strategy and play a role in sourcing funding and securing investment in Cornwall's Property infrastructure and services.

The role holder is responsible for developing effective customer and stakeholder engagement which informs and is integral to the design and improvement of the Councils services.

There are two positions here 1 permanent and 1 fixed term. The fixed term contract and may represent a suitable secondment opportunity for existing Cornwall Council employees. If you wish to be considered for a secondment, please obtain your manager's permission before applying.
