Well established B2B magazine publisher is looking for an experienced Publishing Coordinator to work on two titles focused on the corporate events industry.
The role will involve producing (sourcing and writing) relevant editorial content, liaising with advertisers to obtain and produce copy, and being responsible for bringing together and overseeing the entire production process, from design to print and then distribution.
The role will include:
- Providing main point of contact for all advertisers
- Ensuring timely production of all client supplied adverts and editorial
- Writing and sourcing industry-relevant articles
- Flat-planning and managing the designer's work flow
- Setting deadlines, print dates and distribution dates
- Supplying finished files to the printers, proofing and sign off
- Controlling distribution lists
- Managing social media channels
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum two years' experience working a busy publishing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to develop working relationships with a wide range of people
- The ability to work within a team and under your own initiative
- The ability to quickly understand and research information and clearly explain it
- Outstanding writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Time-management and organisational skills - the ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent IT skills including all MS Office
